Xiaomi 12T with Dimensity 8100 chip was spotted on Geekbench database


Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Xiaomi 12T series in global markets. This series consists of 2 smartphones named Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro. Also, these handsets are available in the Indian market under the names of Redmi K50S and Redmi K50S Pro. According to predictions, these gadgets will be released in the world markets in the coming weeks. However, now the Xiaomi 12T has been spotted on the Geekbench database and some of its key specifications have been revealed.

The information listed on Geekbench shows that the Xiaomi 22071212AG or Xiaomi 12T is equipped with an 8-core chip including 4 cores of 2.85 GHz and 4 processing cores with a frequency of 2.0 GHz. In fact, this chip is the same Dimensity 8100 model made by Mediatek equipped with Mali G610 graphics processor.


Also, according to the listing information, this smartphone is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and will run Android 12 operating system. By checking the benchmark scores, we will find that Xiaomi 12T scored 753 and 2990 points respectively in Geekbench 5 single-core and multi-core processing tests.

This list does not mention any of the other specifications of the handset. However, Xiaomi 12T was recently sold in Peru before its official introduction, and this led to the disclosure of all its specifications.

Specifications of Xiaomi 12T

Xiaomi 12T will be equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a spherical hole in the center of the upper part. This handset uses a fingerprint scanner under the display to ensure the security of users. The processing power of this smartphone is provided by Mediatek Dimensity 8100 chip along with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal memory.

The triple camera setup on the back panel of the phone hosts a 108-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the other hand, the 20-megapixel selfie camera is placed on the front panel of the device. Currently, the main camera of the handset is capable of recording 4K videos at a maximum speed of 30 frames per second.

In terms of software, Xiaomi 12T will run the MIUI 13 user interface based on the Android 12 operating system. The 5000 mAh battery of the handset supports 120W fast charging technology in the wire bed. Also, the charger adapter will be supplied with the retail box of the handset.
