Samsung has released the new firmware for Galaxy A72 in some countries. The Korean company has released the October security package for this smartphone, which was launched in 2021, for some regions such as Serbia, Slovenia, Russia, Croatia and Ukraine.
Galaxy A72 users in these countries can get this update under version A725FXXS4BVI2. The letter S in this designation indicates that the mentioned update includes the current month’s security patch for this handset.
In this way, the Galaxy A72 also joins the group of Samsung smartphones and tablets that will receive this month’s security update. As always, this update will be rolled out to other regions over time.
To receive this package, users can wait until the phone update notification appears or go to the Software update section through the Settings icon and then update their phone through the Download and install option.
It is worth noting that Samsung has already released the mentioned update for some of its other mid-range phones such as Galaxy A13 5G version, Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A53. This month’s update package fixes 32 of Google’s operating system issues and fixes another 17 of the company’s own software issues.
