Intel has recently warned that it will increase the price of its processors. If the new data is correct, this price increase does not only include the CPU and its amount will be quite significant.
The source publishing this news claims that the price increase will also affect motherboard chipsets (that is, the boards themselves). The reason for such a phenomenon is that Intel personally develops the chipsets it needs. In fact, the general price increase program will simply include the current of these parts.
Experts believe that this price increase will vary between 10 and 20 percent. Also, the price increase policy will be implemented from the fourth quarter of this year. This apparently means that the new Raptor Lake series processors will be introduced with new prices. Also, another interesting issue is that, based on new data, this price increase will include old processors as well.
