This year, Poco unveiled the Poco F4 5G smartphone. This handset is an optimized version of Redmi K40s; A device that was previously exclusively available in the Chinese market. Now Xiaomiui website has revealed the key specifications of Poco F5 5G in a new report.

This report shows that Poco F5 5G will be the rebranded version of Redmi K60 5G; A geometry that will probably be introduced in the first 3 months of 2023. Recently, a new Xiaomi smartphone with model number 23013RK75C (related to the Chinese version) has been spotted in the IMEI database. Also, the Indian and global versions of this gadget have been identified with the model numbers 23013PC75I and 23013PC75G respectively on the IMEI website.

This phone will first be released in the Chinese market under the name of Redmi K60, and then we will see its unveiling in India and global markets under the name Poco F5 5G. In line with the interpretation of the model number 23013PC75G/I, it should be noted that the number “23” refers to the year 2023 and the number “01” refers to the first month of the year, January. The letters “PC” are the abbreviation of the word Poco and the number “75” refers to the model number of M11A. The letters G and I represent global and Indian markets, respectively. Similarly, the letters “RK” in the model number 23013RK75C probably refer to the Redmi K series for the Chinese market.

The report also adds that the Poco F5 5G uses the codename “Mandrian”. This handset will come with an AMOLED display with 2K resolution (equivalent to 1440 x 3200 pixels), 120 Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits brightness. The processing power of Poco F5 5G is provided by Snapdragon 8 Plus 1st generation chip. Redmi K60 is expected to have similar specifications. Other specifications of Poco F5 and Redmi K60 smartphones have not been announced yet.
