Recently, the first live image of the Xiaomi 12T Pro smartphone was published on the Chinese social network Weibo. This handset is very similar to Redmi K50 Extreme Edition in terms of camera design. The main camera of Xiaomi 12T Pro will have a resolution of 200 megapixels. This camera will probably use Samsung’s ISOCELL HP1 sensor like the main module of the Moto X30 Pro smartphone.
The HP1 sensor has an optical format of 1/1.22 inches and compared to the Sony IMX707 sensor with a size of 1/1.28 inches, it has a larger optical format. The size of the pixels of this sensor is equal to 0.64 microns. By using the pixel clustering technique in dimly lit spaces, the size of each pixel will be increased to 1.28 microns and 50 megapixel images will be recorded with higher quality. In addition, the Xiaomi 12T series will continue to be launched with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro module. Also, the front camera will be equipped with a 20 megapixel sensor.
The Chinese company has already confirmed that Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro smartphones will be introduced on October 4.
