The dual notch function mechanism was revealed in Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro series

As the upcoming Apple event on September 7 is approaching, all eyes are on the American brand and rumors and additional information about the iPhone 14 series are being published from all over the world. In the meantime, many rumors have focused on the new design of the dual holes for the placement of the selfie camera and the hardware elements of the Face ID system. Currently, apparently, the dominant opinion of experts is that Apple will use a special system to blacken the pixels between the 2 holes and display the entire area as a single hole.

Recently, images have been published on the Internet that show the way this system works and also a possibly real view of the iPhone 14. Apple has probably implemented this feature for aesthetic and practical purposes. The area between the 2 holes is probably for the new privacy indicators that were unveiled with the release of iOS 14; will remain protected. This feature indicates when an app is actively using the device’s microphone or video camera. This can help free up the corners of the display and create more space for displaying status icons.

According to recent rumors, Apple will use a new notch to exclusively redesign the status bar for the iPhone 14 series. The numerous renderings released show that the Cupertino giant will likely return to a more classic design pattern. First, the full battery information, including the symbol and charge percentage, is placed on the right side of the hole, and the location symbol is placed next to it. On the left side of the hole, icons related to network signal and mobile operator information are displayed. However, these images belong to replica models and one should be skeptical about their authenticity.

Other industry sources have also claimed that Apple will change the interface of its camera app to improve the positioning of the controls around the new holes. To be more precise, the flash and Live Photo buttons are placed exactly in the status bar and other settings will be moved to the lower part of the holes. However, it is not yet clear whether Apple’s decision to connect the holes by black pixels is a system-wide application or will only be available in some specific application scenarios such as watching video. For example, when playing video, the pixels between the 2 holes may still be able to display the actual content. The accuracy of this hypothesis will be determined in the future.

New status bar design and always-on display feature

The usual routine model for Apple products, this time the exact features of the iPhone 14 series are mostly in an aura of uncertainty. Even about the names used by Apple for its future handsets, it is not possible to comment with certainty. According to some rumors, Apple will probably use the extension “Plus” again, in which case we will see the introduction of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max handsets.

Also, according to some rumors, the iPhone 14 Pro series will support 30W fast charging technology and will be equipped with new ultra-wide cameras.
