Yesterday, while holding an event, the Xiaomi company unveiled the new Redmi Note 12 series phones for the Chinese market. Redmi Note 12 Pro has now been spotted on the Geekbench database. The results of the benchmark test show that the performance category is unfortunately not one of the strong points of this smartphone.
Redmi has used the Dimensity 1080 chip made by Mediatek for its Note 12 series phones. Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus models are equipped with Dimensity 1080 chip. After announcing the use of this chip in the mentioned models, it became clear that users should not count on the high performance of these phones.

Redmi Note 12 Pro with model number 22101316C has scored 767 and 2008 points respectively in Geekbench 5 single-core and multi-core processing tests. For comparison, it is interesting to know that the Redmi Note 11T Pro scored 997 and 3755 in the single-core and multi-core processing tests.
The difference between the scores obtained by the 2 smartphones is huge. But this issue is not so surprising; Because Redmi Note 11T Pro uses a much stronger platform called Dimensity 8100, and the Dimensity 1080 chip is almost no different from the old Dimensity 920 model in terms of performance.
