Surface Pro 9, another new product from Microsoft

When Microsoft unveiled the Surface Pro 8, many believed it was a big step forward for the 2-in-1 tablet family. Great design, incredible speed, very good battery and new technologies used in this device made many consider it one of the best tablets on the market. Now Microsoft plans to relive all those good memories by unveiling Surface Pro 9.

Using the same design language as the Surface Pro 8 and of course the 13-inch PixelSense touch screen makes the Surface Pro look not much different from its previous generation at first glance. Microsoft has used first-class aluminum in the design of this device so that it can offer more colors. This time, the new Surface Pro has been released in four eye-catching colors, and in this sense, it can also attract the attention of demanding audiences.

Most likely, we should consider the support of 5G network as the most important change of this device. For this purpose, Microsoft has used its special processors, SQ3. The previous generation of these processors, designed and produced in collaboration with Qualcomm, have already passed the test in the Surface Pro X and enable the Surface Pro 9 to significantly reduce battery consumption.

There is another model of this device that does not support 5G network. To compensate for this gap, this model of Surface Pro 9 has been equipped with more graphic features. In fact, the Wifi-only model of this product is equipped with the 12th generation Intel Evo chip to provide the experience of browsing the Internet at maximum speed. The 5G model can store up to 19 hours of energy needed for work with each charge, but the normal model only lasts 15.5 hours until the next charge, so another big difference between these models is the battery. Another strange thing among the different Surface Pro 9 models is the USB ports; Where the 5G model uses two 3.2 ports and the Wi-Fi model uses more advanced USB 4 technology with Thunderbolt 4 support.

Surface Pro 9

The pre-sale of the Surface Pro 9 family of devices has started since the unveiling, and those interested can buy their desired model in the price range of $999.99 to $2599. If you pay more, you can get models with 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD and a Core i7 processor, otherwise you can settle for models with 8 GB of RAM, a 128 GB SSD and a Core i5 processor. Of course, there are also models with 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD and SQ3 processor that can be of interest to you depending on your needs. Microsoft has announced that it will continue to sell the Surface Pro 8 and Pro 7 Plus so that users with a tighter budget don’t have to worry too much about it.
