Last month, Samsung introduced its 98-inch Neo QLED TV named QN100B for the South Korean market. This TV has a 4K resolution and is now on display at CEDIA Expo 2022 in Dallas, Texas.
This product is considered a flagship TV of the Samsung brand and has unprecedented brightness levels to create the best HDR experience. The QN100B is a 98-inch Neo QLED TV with 4K resolution, mini LED backlight system, and a maximum brightness of 5000 nits. Due to having such a high level of brightness, the QN100B TV will not need the tone mapping process.
HDR content is fully covered at a brightness level of 4000 nits; Therefore, this TV still has a double space to provide more brightness. Thus, users can even use this TV in open spaces if they wish.
According to Samsung, the 14-bit panel of this TV will be able to adjust its brightness in 16384 different steps thanks to the use of the Neo Quantum Processor + chip. This TV supports HDR10+ Adoptive, HDR10 and HLG standards. Also, this TV allows users to watch 4 video streams at the same time.
In terms of audio features, this ultra-advanced TV is equipped with a 6.4.4-channel audio system with a maximum power of 120 watts, despite its 19.9 mm thickness. This TV is equipped with 6 speakers in the front part, 4 speakers in the upper part and 4 woofers. Support for Dolby Atmos standard, Object Sound Tracking + technology and Q-Symphony are other audio features of QN100B TV.
QN100B TV uses Tizen operating system like other Samsung smart TVs. This product has access to all music and video streaming applications, Bixby, Alexa, Samsung Health, Samsung TV Plus and SmartThings. Samsung has not yet announced the pricing details of this TV in the European and American markets. But this product will be launched in the South Korean market with a price tag of 45 million Korean won (about $33,900).
