Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro with Snapdragon 778G chip was officially introduced


The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro received certification from several different regulatory agencies around the world in mid-August. This phenomenon indicated the imminent release of Samsung’s durable tablet, and today the Korean giant finally unveiled this product.

Undoubtedly, high endurance is the main selling point of the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro. This tablet comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with TFT LCD technology, full HD+ resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels) and Gorilla Glass 5 protective cover. The processing power of this gadget will be provided through a 6nm chip equipped with an 8-core processor. Based on the information previously seen on the Google Play Console database, we now know that this chip is of the Snapdragon 778G type.


Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro comes with 2 different memory configurations including 4 GB RAM + 64 GB internal memory and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB internal memory. MicroSD memory card support, a replaceable 7600 mAh battery, the ability to use without a battery through a direct connection to the electric current even in high temperature environments, and the S Pen are other features of the new durable Samsung tablet.

5G connection, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, NFC chip, Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS are the communication features of Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro. The 2-SIM hybrid functionality is only available in North America due to some special reasons, and the fingerprint sensor is also integrated with the home button. This tablet weighs 674 grams and its thickness is 10.2 mm. In terms of software, we see the use of Android 12 operating system and Samsung’s One UI user interface.

The Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro and its S Pen are IP68 certified. This issue guarantees the resistance of the device and its stylus against the penetration of dust, dirt and sand and provides the possibility of using the tablet at a depth of 1.5 meters of fresh water for a maximum period of 30 minutes.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro will be available in parts of continental Europe from September. In the end of 2022, this tablet will be released in the markets of Asia, Latin America, North America and the Middle East.
