Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with 25W charger received 3C certification

According to predictions, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series flagships will be launched early next year. Recently, a member of this family has succeeded in receiving a certificate from China’s 3C regulatory agency. The device with model number SM-S9180 is actually the most advanced member of the Galaxy S23 series named Galaxy S23 Ultra.

According to the information in the certificate, this device supports charging technology with a maximum speed of 25 watts (11 volts and 2.25 amps). This figure is less compared to the 45-watt charging technology supported in the Galaxy S22 Ultra; But it should be remembered that the 45-watt charging of the Galaxy S22 Ultra did not significantly reduce the charging time of the device compared to the Galaxy S21 Ultra with 25-watt charging technology.

Also, some different tests showed that the charging speed of the Galaxy S22 Ultra will reach 45 watts only for a very short time. So Samsung probably figured out a way to use the 25W charging technology longer during the battery charge cycle. This will help to improve the battery charging speed or even reduce the difference in efficiency with the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s 45W charging technology.

Another possible scenario is that the 25W charging technology will be limited to only certain models of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, including the Chinese version of this handset. According to rumors, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have the same design and dimensions as the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

However, it is expected that the resolution of the main camera of the handset will be increased to 200 megapixels. Also, the processing power of this flagship smartphone will probably be supplied through the Snapdragon 8 generation 2 chip.

Recent reports show that Samsung will use Qualcomm chips for all models of the Galaxy S23 family; Although the use of the native Exynos chip in some future models of the Galaxy S series also seems to be a possible scenario.
