According to a leaker named Ice Universe, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be equipped with a 200-megapixel primary camera. Published reports indicate that the Korean brand will use an unannounced 200-megapixel sensor called ISOCELL HP2. As a reminder, it should be noted that the first 200 megapixel sensor made by Samsung called ISOCELL HP1 was launched last year. A few weeks ago, Samsung unveiled its second 200-megapixel sensor called ISOCELL HP3.


Apparently, the ISOCELL HP2 sensor will provide better performance compared to the ISOCELL HP1 and ISOCELL HP3 models. In fact, the naming law of Samsung products is also sometimes incomprehensible. For example, the ISOCELL GN2 sensor has a higher quality compared to the ISOCELL GN1 model; But the ISOCELL GN5 sensor is not as efficient as any of the above 2 models.

The size of the ISOCELL HP2 sensor is not yet known. If this sensor really has better performance; In this case, its size will be larger than the 1.22-inch ISOCELL HP1 sensor or it will benefit from better deep isolation technology.
