Samsung Galaxy A04s with 90 Hz display and 50 megapixel camera was officially introduced

Today, Samsung unveiled a new member of the Galaxy A family, the Galaxy A04s. This handset is considered to be the successor of last year’s model called Galaxy A03s, and it is considered an upgraded version of the newer Galaxy A04 model. This new handset was introduced in the Northern Europe region without holding an unveiling ceremony; Therefore, the details of its release date have not yet been announced.

Samsung Galaxy A04s is considered to be a completely low-end but at the same time capable handset. This handset will be launched with Android 12 operating system and One UI Core 4.1 user interface. The mentioned user interface is considered to be a simplified version of Samsung’s custom skin.

The chip used by this smartphone is in an aura of uncertainty; But this semiconductor is expected to be Exynos 850. This chip, with 8 Cortex A55 processing cores, has a faster performance compared to the Helio P35 chip used in the Galaxy A03s.

The Exynos 850 is an 8nm chip; Therefore, its efficiency is expected to be significantly higher compared to the 28nm Unisoc chip inside the Galaxy A04 smartphone. This handset will be launched in configurations with 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32, 64 or 128 GB of internal memory. This smartphone is equipped with a microSD memory card port; Therefore, users will be able to upgrade the storage space of their gadget if they wish.

The display is another upgraded feature of the Galaxy A04s. This handset is equipped with a completely low-end PLS LCD screen with a size of 6.5 inches, a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. However, the display refresh rate has been upgraded from the standard 60Hz to 90Hz. As a result, users will see animations and scrolling effects playing more smoothly. The in-display notch also hosts a regular 5-megapixel selfie camera.

The triple camera configuration on the back panel of the phone hosts only one flagship module, the main 50 megapixel sensor. Like the Galaxy A04, this smartphone is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. A 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro module make up the other components of the handset’s rear camera system.

Like other A0x family models, this handset uses a 5000 mAh battery. This battery provides the energy needed to play up to 90 hours of music or surf the web over a Wi-Fi connection for 21 hours. Charging through the USB-C port is considered one of the most essential improvements for the Galaxy A04S. This smartphone still lacks the ability to support fast charging; However, removing the micro USB port is good news for users.

The 3.5 mm audio jack of the headphones supports Dolby Atmos technology. This smartphone comes with the ability to receive 2 SIM cards, dedicated microSD memory card port, 4G connection, Wi-Fi 5ac and Bluetooth 5.0. Finally, the fingerprint sensor is also installed on the side edge of the phone.

The new Samsung Galaxy A04s smartphone in black, green, white and copper color models

Pricing details for the Samsung Galaxy A04s have yet to be announced. This handset is available in 4 different colors including black, green, white and copper. However, only white and green color models are available in Samsung’s online store. The Samsung Galaxy A04s has been featured on listing sites in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden. However, the said handset has not yet been released to the market.
