Samsung is preparing to unveil its new foldable phones while holding the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10. Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable smartphones are the stars of this event. However, it is expected that the Korean giant will also unveil the Galaxy Watch 5 series of smartwatches and the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 earbuds.
Now ahead of the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, pricing details for both the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 handsets have been leaked by various sources. Let’s start with the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
A whistleblower named Sudhanshu Ambhore, in collaboration with Pricebaba, has published details about the pricing of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in European countries. According to this report, the base model of Galaxy Z Flip 4 with 128 GB internal memory will be priced at 1080 euros; While the 256 and 512 GB models of this handset will be available to the buyers with a price of 1160 and 1280 euros, respectively.
The Gizpaw website has also published an independent report and presented its alleged lists for the retail pricing of the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The figures mentioned in this report are similar to the amounts announced in the Pricebaba website report. The screenshot provided by this publication shows that the 128GB model of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will come with a price tag of 1,080 euros. Also, the 256 and 512 GB versions of this smartphone will be priced at 1158.89 and 1275.89 euros, respectively.
Also, the Gizpaw website has mentioned the pricing of Galaxy Z Fold 4 in Europe. Based on the shared screenshot, it appears that the 256GB model of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will come with a retail price tag of €1,896.89; While the 512 GB model of this smartphone is priced at 1981.89 euros. Considering that the price tags are not super standard; Therefore, Samsung will probably offer the 256 and 512 GB models of Galaxy Z Fold 4 with a price of 1849 and 1999 euros, respectively.
According to the above reports, it is obvious that Samsung’s next-generation foldable phones will be launched with a slight price increase compared to the current generation models. However, in order to officially confirm the pricing of the above handsets, we should probably wait until their introduction on August 19.
