It’s not Possible to Completely Hide apps on iOS iPhone.

If you wish so, tap and hold the app icon until the “X” appears and then tap on “X”. But their are other tricks also that will hide apps on iPhone without removing it.
To do so, you need to remove the app from Siri shortcuts and suggestions. Also you need to disable features like notifications, and bury the icon in a folder far from prying eyes.
Remove the App from Search and Siri Suggestions
Siri is the name of Apple’s voice assistant, actually the first voice assistant in the world of smartphones, and has gained a lot of popularity among users. Siri has some interesting features that make it easier for users to get things done.

Siri will show you the apps you open on the “Today page” next to the Spotlight search section on your iPhone. The majority of users regularly use “Search” for the app, which makes it a frequent recommendation. Or it may surface when searching for other apps.
How to hide apps on the iphone ? To do so, go to Settings > Siri and Search then find the app you want to “hide” from the long list of installed apps on your device. Disable all options on this screen to see one more appear: Show App.
After that, you have to disable “Show App” to exclude the app from all search results and suggestion screens. On the other hand, if want to find the app in future, you have to find its icon where you have hided on your home screen or in its folders, and then launch it from there.

Hide the App in a Folder

The first step is to create a Folder. You can create folders on iOS and iPadOS just by tapping and holding an app icon until all the icons on the screen start to wiggle. Next, tap and hold an app and move over another one. Here a folder will be created and it’s up to you to name it. You can also destroy the app by removing all the app but only the last one.

To hide the targeted app from others, the best way is to full-up the folder with boring apps until many pages will be created. Then move the app on the last page of the folder. You can choose a folder full of boring apps like PDF converter, “Shopping” apps or “Office” tools.
Disable App Notifications
Though, you removed the targeted app from search and suggestions it’s notifications still appears. It means the targeted app is not hide completely yet. To disable app notifications go to Settings > Notifications and scroll down until you find the specific app. Tap the app and then disable the “Allow Notifications” option to prevent the app from showing any notifications on your iPhone or iPad.

Hide Downloads from App Store History on iPhone
App store remembers the app you download on your iPhone even if you delete the app after the process of installation. All the apps that you downloaded on your iPhone including the free ones will appear on the “Purchased” tab.
You can see the list of previously purchased apps on “App Store” application. To do so, first, launch the App Store and then tap the “Today” tab. Choose your user icon in the top-right corner and then go to “Purchased” section.
Now, all the apps that you downloaded previously will be shown to you. You can use the filed at the top of your phone screen to search for any specific app you want to hide.
Thanks to Apple for allowing us to hide apps at least in this area. You can hide the app you want to hide just by swiping left on it and tap the red “Hide” option.

In case you want to download it again, it’s best to tap “Get” and reauthorize it, rather than tapping the icloud download icon as per other purchased apps.
Hide Your Photos and Videos
Another thing to consider for hiding is your photos and videos. We all have some photos and videos that we do not want to show others. You can hide your photos and videos without any application. Find the picture or video that you want to hide then tap share. Scroll down and then select “Hide”.

All the photos and videos that you hided are placed in an album called “Hidden” in the Photos app. Remember that this album is not completely protected. There for, anyone can find the photos you hided easily.
