One of the experts of 91Mobiles website named Yogesh Brar has recently obtained the benchmark test results of Google Pixel 7 Pro smartphone. The results of AnTuTu and Geekbench benchmark tests have been shared on Twitter, and by comparing them, you can see the improvements of the new generation Tensor chip compared to the previous generation model.
Yogesh Brar published a tweet and announced: “Google Pixel 7 Pro has scored 1068 and 3149 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core processing tests, respectively. Also, the score of this smartphone in Antutu V9 benchmark application is 801116. These scores are more or less close to the Snapdragon 888 and 888 Plus chips. The Tensor G2 chip is still in a lower position than the flagship chips; But it will still be the leader in terms of image signal processor (ISP) performance and artificial intelligence. With these interpretations, are you also excited for the unveiling of the Google Pixel 7 series?”
According to Yogesh Brar, the Tensor G2 chip used in the Pixel 7 Pro has achieved scores comparable to the Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 888 Plus chips. This seems to be in line with last month’s leaked information about a slight increase in clock speed on the Tensor G2 chip.
The new chipset is expected to launch with major improvements in ISP, machine learning and artificial intelligence applications. Based on the rumors published so far, it seems that the Tensor G2 will be a modified version of the first generation Tensor chip. Experts hope that Tensor G2 chip with better thermal performance, modem with better connection and stability, and overall more efficient use of battery charge will be released to the market.
