Asus Ragphone 6D with Dimensity 9000 Plus chip is coming

It seems that Asus will unveil a new smartphone soon. Based on the certificates issued and information leaked by a reliable whistleblower, this handset will be marketed under the ROG brand. According to rumors, this gadget will be a new version of Asus Ragphone 6.

Earlier today, 2 upcoming Asus smartphones with model numbers ASUS_AI2203_A and ASUS_AI2203_B were spotted on the website of China’s 3C Regulatory Agency. A popular whistleblower named Digital Chat Station claims that these model numbers belong to an unannounced handset known as the Asus Ragphone 6D.

Also, this smartphone has been seen on the RoHS certification page on Asus official website. This list has confirmed the official name considered for the marketing of the said gadget. According to Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Ragphone 6D handset will be equipped with the Dimensity 9000 Plus chip made by Mediatek. This shows that the use of the character D in the name of the handset refers to the presence of the Dimensity chip.

Additionally, the leaker claims that the Ragphone 6D will be equipped with a 165Hz flat screen manufactured by Samsung Display. The main 50 megapixel camera with IMX766 sensor made by Sony and a 6000 mAh battery with the ability to support 65 W fast charging in the wire bed are other features of this gadget.

According to the announced specifications, it seems that the difference between the Asus Ragphone 6D and the standard model of the Ragphone 6 will be limited only to the type of chip used by them. For the information of the uninformed, it should be noted that the processing power of Asus Ragphone 6 is provided by Qualcomm’s 1st generation Snapdragon 8 Plus chip.

It is expected that we will see the release of more details about this handset in the coming weeks.
