Apple’s iPhone 15 Ultra is coming with better battery charging and 8K video recording capabilities

The sale of Apple’s iPhone 14 series started last Friday (September 25) (of course, the iPhone 14 Plus is an exception and will be launched next month. However, rumors and speculations about the iPhone 15 family have been circulating for a long time. It has already begun. In this regard, a whistleblower with the ID LeaksApplePro has recently made several predictions.

It is expected that all models of the iPhone 15 series will use the USB-C port instead of using the Lightning port. This phenomenon is not so surprising; Because only a few months after the start of sales of the iPhone 15 series, the use of the USB-C port will be required in the European Union. By changing the name of iPhone Pro Max to iPhone Ultra, Apple will probably make changes in this series. 2 famous analysts named Ming Chiko and Mark Gorman have made similar claims before.

Using the extension Ultra for the future iPhone series seems logical; Because this issue will coordinate the naming pattern of iPhones with Apple M1 chip and Apple Watch smart watch. However, the interesting thing about the iPhone 15 Ultra is that the gadget will use exclusive hardware.

The ability to record 8K video will be one of the exclusive features of this smartphone; Although the addition of this feature to the iPhone 15 Pro also seems a possible scenario. Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the iPhone 15 Ultra will be equipped with an exclusive periscopic lens capable of 5x or 6x magnification. Also, in order to improve battery charging, this handset can be used for 3 to 4 hours more with a single charge.

Considering all the mentioned exclusive developments, it is expected that the iPhone 15 Ultra will be launched with a more expensive price tag than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. According to predictions, the iPhone 15 Ultra will be released with a base price of $1,200; While the iPhone 14 Pro Max is available to customers with a base price of $1100. Of course, it is not possible to comment on this issue with certainty at this time.

Regarding the other models of the iPhone 15 family, we see a kind of integration. According to predictions, all 4 models of the future iPhone series will use the Dynamic Island design. However, these handsets will still use 2 different chip models. To be more precise, the Pro and Ultra models will use the A17 chip; While iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models will probably use Apple’s current generation chip known as A16.

According to some speculations, the hardware of the Face ID system will be moved to the lower part of the display and only the spherical hole of the camera will remain. However, clarifying the possibility of implementing this technology during this year or postponing it to next year will take several months.

A possible timeline for Apple moving away from the notch design for iPhones

Considering the gap of about a year until the introduction of Apple’s iPhone 15 series, it is not yet clear whether the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be equipped with displays with a high refresh rate and always-on display capability.
