The new CMOS image sensor will be used alongside a voice coil motor (VCM) and a new compact camera module. All these parts are up to 70% more expensive than the ones used in the iPhone 13 Pro series. Along with the new ultra-wide module, the iPhone 14 Pro series is expected to be equipped with a 48-megapixel main camera with 4-in-1 pixel clustering.
