Lenovo fell to the fourth position with the sale of 3.5 million tablets. The company’s tablet sales during this period decreased by 25.67% compared to the same period last year. Huawei also became the fifth largest tablet manufacturer in the world during the second quarter of 2022 by selling 2.1 million tablets.

New entrants in the tablet segment such as Oppo, Realme, Xiaomi, and Vivo appear to have outperformed expectations and will help drive the growth of the Android tablet market in the third quarter of 2022, IDC reported. According to reports, the overall growth of the tablet market is due to the use of these gadgets in educational projects, as well as the holding of special sales festivals such as the 618 Festival in China and Prime Day in the United States.
