Samsung has released One UI 4.1.1 update based on Android 12L operating system for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. The update is 1,500 MB in size and brings a host of improvements to Samsung’s previous-generation foldable phones.
These improvements include improved multitasking with a new taskbar, as well as options to change the contact background image, better search, and an option to change smooth navigation settings. Also, the new update includes the August 1st security patch. Older foldable models including the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip are all in line to receive the new firmware.
The new taskbar is the most important feature of Android 12L and One UI 4.1.1 user interface. This bar appears automatically when the user is in the drop-down menu of applications or the application page and allows users to move between different applications immediately. Also, the new taskbar will enable the quick execution of applications in the split-screen display mode and the saving of favorite split-screen mode pairs and their direct recall by users.
Now users can use a new 2-finger gesture to switch between full-screen and split-screen modes. For this purpose, users just need to drag their fingers from the left, right or bottom of the screen to the inside of the screen.
