All models of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will benefit from the same design as the previous generation

It seems that Samsung’s next generation flagship smartphones will use the design pattern of the current generation models and almost without any changes to them.

A well-known leakster with the nickname Ice Universe previously claimed that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have the same design as the Galaxy S22 Ultra. However, he now claims that the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus models will almost copy the design of their previous generation models. This whistleblower announced in a tweet:

“Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus smartphones will benefit from the same design as the Galaxy S22; Even the body frame will remain unchanged. Also, the display, sensors, camera modules and battery will probably be the same as last year’s models. However, the processor of the new handsets will be upgraded to Snapdragon 8 generation 2.

This means that the upcoming Samsung flagships will be similar to the Galaxy S22 family models in terms of key parameters and dimensions. It is not yet clear what strategy Samsung will use to differentiate its new generation handsets.

In relation to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, it seems that the curvature of the edges of the display will be reduced in this handset and its design will be closer to flat panels. The increase in frame width is the biggest change in the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This means reducing the curvature of the display glass. Ice Universe was among the first people to talk about smartphones equipped with a waterfall display, the presence of a notch in the iPhone X display, the new design of the iPhone 14 and Samsung’s 200 megapixel camera sensor.
